Fresh List

Effective date:

Fresh List ("we", "our", or "us") is a shopping list application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use Fresh List.

Quick summary: We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. Your lists are saved locally on your device. The app displays ads via Google AdMob, which may process certain data for advertising and analytics.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII). Fresh List does not require you to create an account and does not transmit your shopping data to our servers.

Your lists and preferences are stored locally on your device using local storage or an on-device database. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Fresh List uses Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers, approximate location, IP address, ad performance data, and app interactions in order to deliver, personalize, and measure ads, and to prevent fraud.

For details on Google's data practices, please review the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob Help Center.

If you are in the EEA/UK or other regions requiring consent, the app may display a consent form provided by Google to obtain your choices for personalized or non-personalized ads.

Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use cookies. Ad services may use mobile advertising identifiers and similar technologies for the purposes described above.

Data Storage & Retention

Shopping lists and settings are kept on your device only. We do not operate any backend servers for user data. You control retention by deleting items, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.

Security

Because your data stays on your device, please keep your device secure (e.g., using a passcode). We implement reasonable safeguards in the app, but no method of storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Fresh List is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AdMob through ad interactions, please contact us and/or review Google's guidance.

Your Choices

Manage local data
  • Edit or delete lists within the app.
  • Clear the app's storage from device settings to remove all local data.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Ads personalization
  • Use Google Ads Settings to manage ad personalization with Google.
  • On Android, you can reset or limit the Advertising ID in device settings.

International Transfers

AdMob and its partners may process data on servers located in different countries. These processors are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards as described in their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, where required by law, seek your consent to material changes.
